Even if you move here in Feb, you have to live here Jan thru Dec., which means for you 2009 will be your "calendar year", and you can apply in Jan 2010, for the fall 2010 dividend.
It kinda weeds out the "I'm here for the free check" bunch.

Bro, I know. However, we are here "for the duration." My wife and I are both from PA and absolutely love Alaska. Yes, we know winter is longer. We don't care. Don't forget that we spent 10 miserable months in the insane "progressive" state of California and I will never, ever step foot in that hole again. For a conservative gun owner, CA is a hell of irrational thought and quite concrete regulations. Good riddance...........
California is about as high up on my list of places to go as NYC....in other words, it's not even on the list...
