Are there a lot of snakes in Alaska? Already in three days we have killed two poisonous snakes here because of the close to 80 degree weather they are coming out. Please let me know cause I hate snakes and scared to death of them! These snakes were at our house in our yard so I am scared this summer will be bad and with my son with aspergers his thing is snakes and other reptiles and I do not want him to get bit! He even jumped in a lake once to catch a snake!

WELL, AHEM..... There are the dreaded Alaska road snakes! (to the uninitiated, they look just like broken fan belts)
