Is it true that visitors to Alaska can earn a lot of money at a fish factory or something like that? There is a desire to try, but the ticket is so expensive that I'm afraid to lose money.

Define "alot" lol.

Its really not that much for how hard/brutal and remote the work is. Considering I know people on the slope making north of 200k (the first 100k is for their skills and education, the second 100k is for putting up with remote work site conditions).

I would think a fish camp in a remote area would be worth at least 120k a year which is the crap hole premium. Even if all I had was a HS diploma I would not touch those jobs for at least 120k for a man year worth of hours plus free housing and food.
