It's nothing special, certainly nothing to be excited about. Longhorn is owned by Darden Restaurants, a large corporation that oversees mediocre restaurant chains like Red Lobster and Olive Garden.
For steak in Albuquerque you're definitely better off going to Vernon's, Monte Carlo, Texas Roadhouse, or Texas Land and Cattle.

Meh.... moved from a city that had a Longhorn...... It's basically Texas Land & Cattle or TX Roadhouse under a different name. Great news as any new business entry into the area is. But from a "adding something new" perspective to the ABQ eatery landscape........ We already have the same thing. It doesn't add anything.
Nice atmosphere, with "nothing to write home about" food. I really want to like this place, but their food is very ho-hum, nothing better or worst than what I can get from a neighborhood diner. A good place to take the family though, for a "western" steakhouse experience.
Yes, we have one Texas Land and Cattle in ABQ. NW part of town, just on the west side of I25 [New Mexico] Texas Land & Cattle We've been a few times and enjoyed it.
I'd be more excited if we were getting a Saltgrass Steak House.
