Interested in hearing and learning about Albequerque.

What kind of a city and what interest would appeal to a senior couple touring.
Input is greatly appreciated.

Please tell us a little about what you like.

It's much easier with that knowledge than to just spew
out a bunch of stuff that seniors we know like to do.

It's also helpful to know how much driving you intend
to do or are willing to do.

What if you are a skiing grandma and grandpa?
What if you just like to eat a lot?

I have so many ideas that I'm about to pop, but I can't
just let loose on you without something to work with.

Most others are that way also, but they're shy.

LOl.......I"m not shy........not anymore anyways. Just didn't think.

Okay...We like scenery, history, a little gambling, fun things such as a ride up a mountain on a ski lift, of course food.

We live in DE and have never been out west. I'm also interested in the old west days. Roy rogers isn't around anymore is he? LOL joke. I know he isn't.
.the country is definatly different out those parts in lanscape, architecture and animal inhabitants. I'm interested in taking in all the beauty and learning about history while being in the same spot it happened..
Any other questions just shoot away.
Thanks

If you decide to visit this area, you'll feel a bit like Dorothy when she awoke in the Land of Oz: It's genuinely different.

The landscape, architecture, friendly people, food, and sky will stay with you forever.

Looking forward to your comments after you've visited.

-o- scenery
-o- history

You can get a bus tour via The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center
to see some of the pueblos, learn history, see scenery.

The Railrunner is another good way to see scenery.

You didn't say if you could do some of the driving yourself or not.

-o- gambling

Visit some of the casinos for that.

-o- ride up a mountain on a ski lift

Many of the ski areas run their lifts - especially that
time of the year when the trees are changing.

Albuquerque also has The Sandia Peak Tramway

-o- food

Go through this thread:Your favorite ABQ restaurant?
Look for any posts by me. They are usually the best ones.
