It was announced on several tv stations, in the paper, on the Albuquerque web site: Albuquerque Twinkle Light Parade - Cultural Services Department - City of Albuquerque (http://www.cabq.gov/crs/twinklelight.html - broken link) and listed in various other places: albuquerque twinkle light parade - Google Search

I've been here almost 5 years now and the only parade I have ever heard of was the State Fair Parade and I just found out about that last year.

I never even knew we had a twinkle lights parade.

The "Twinkle Light Parade" started in Rio Rancho in the late 80's and then was moved to Albuquerque about 5 or 6 years ago.

There are other parades. I guess you missed http://www.city-data.com/forum/albuq...ld-parade.html and http://www.city-data.com/forum/albuq...os-parade.html and a few others...
