They moved into the downtown location 4-5 years ago, I believe. They were originally located at Hoffmantown.

It's an interesting dynamic having the school Downtown.

It must make working Downtown and having highschool age children much easier.

The ABHS kids add a cool vibe according to local merchants. Many of the students ride Rail Runner or Rapid Ride.

I forgot to mention the cool neon lighting in the tunnel on Central underneath the railroad tracks. BTW: It would be nice if this was also done under the I-25 at Central (along with landscaping this section of the freeway). This would tie in well with the cool Big I lighting.

Lots of redevelopment money from the Federal Government is available for Cities. Maybe it's time for a light rail system or street car system?

It's an added layer of use that makes Downtown more interesting.

You think it's not a good thing?

These students may become more interested in working/living Downtown than students attending schools in other areas.

I think it's a good thing.
