Not worth it. You're conversing with someone who believes a coach store represents class and an educated workforce.

Which would be cool, considering Albuquerque does not even have one.
Is that what opened recently on the westside, off of Alameda near the Lowe's?

Seriously? I think there's a few wealthy people in Santa Fe. There's a lot of oil money in the southeast part of the state. I doubt 75% of the wealthy people in the state live in the NE heights of ABQ.

What's going into that big, giant hole in the ground at the ABQ Uptown site?

Please, Lord, let a Nordstrom's store come to ABQ. Even better--Nordstrom Rack. I love that store! Somebody earlier mentioned Crate and Barrel--yes, yes, yes to that as well.

Moderator cut: The topic of this thread is "Coronado Center", please to not drift off...

That would be the new elevated Target store with ground and underground parking. The store will be two stories as well.

According to a rendering there will be a Nordstrom Rack in Winrock. I also think that a Nordstrom can work in ABQ. Not sure about Saks. In Indianapolis, we had two Nordstrom stores, Saks, and a nordstom rack. While Indy has a much higher population and income, most decent sized cities could support a Nordstrom. Also keep in mind Indy had people from other nearby states drive in and some bus companies would bring people in just to shop. It was a regional draw. ABQ is heading in the direction of being a regional draw. So that means people from Taos, on down to even Las Cruses could come to ABQ and shop. There is plenty of money in Santa Fe and Taos, along with many places in ABQ to support a Nordstrom.

2 story Target? I was hoping Nordstrom. Might as well be Mcdonalds as someone said. Can this city get even more ghetto.
