Got two six packs of IBC for my birthday. Just finished the last of it yesterday.

Didn't want to drink it all up at once.

Root Beer - Soda Pop

Galco's Soda Pop Stop in Highland Park, California (suburb of L.A.)

When I heard about them, they didn't give a state, so I was thinking it was a suburb of Chicago, IL, not L.A.

I vote for Barq's. Stewart's is good, too. No offense to anyone, but I think A&W is a bit too sweet, with not a whole lot of true root beer "bite". How is Hire's? I don't know if I've ever had it.

Barq's, both for the bite, and due to the fact that it's caffeinated.

A&W is too syrup-y sweet for me. The others, I've either never had or find them just okay. But the only root beer I actually enjoy is Barq's, unless we're talking specialty stuff.

Wanna, I like to put my bottle of root beer in the freezer and get it cold enough where, when you take the cap off, it turns to sluch. You that and 2 big scoops of ice cream and you're all set! Mmmmmm!
