It's a "soft spot" in the top of the lid which can be punched in with a hard object like a key, to provide a vent opposite the main opening, so that when you're trying to chug a beer in one long swallow, the can doesn't get an air lock, which would slow you down.

Campari straight - horrible horrible Italian bitter. It's not as bad when mixed In a cocktail. I do like a nice Scotch. I'm in Georgia and don't mind a little White Lightnin' every once in a while. Had some made with Apple a few times that was actually pretty awesome.
Pretty much all alcohol, except maybe sake. Actually, sake tasted like a soapy bath, but it was an interesting experience drinking it.
As for non-alcoholic drinks, pozol, a traditional southern Mexican (Maya?) drink made out of chocolate tasted like muddy water, and agua de chaya, another Mexican drink from Yucatan province, made out of chaya leaves.
