The guy's problem was back in May (9 months ago). Since he's never returned to update the thread, I'm guessing:
1. it was a random drive-by post
2. the poster forgot he posted
3. the poster got the information he wanted and didn't really care enough about anyone to respond to thank them for it
4. the poster found the answer he needed from somewhere else
5. the poster's problem cleared up spontaneously
6. the poster is dead.
Regardless, the person you're responding to isn't putting anything in the OP's coffin, because the OP isn't here to read the advice.
