Which city is more and less West European between Sao Paulo and Rio De Janeiro? In any respect you can think of which city has a less West European feel concerning people, food, culture, etc....
Okay... São Paulo has a very strong Italian culture as well as Japanese and Portuguese... foods like a italian, culture is cosmopolitan. Rio is more african and portuguese, the best is that people are more open... Sao Paulo has more urban attractions and Rio much more natural beauty.
I really dont know how Sao Paulo would be any "european"!!!
Its population ok, most of paulistanos are european descendents, but the city properly, there's really nothing to do to Europe.
Rio is very much a portuguese city. Actually it had already been the capital of Portugal in the XIX Century... The population is also majority european descendent, but the african descendence is stronger than in Sao Paulo.
But again if you talk about the city, Rio surelly is a lot more european style.
Thank you for you polite compliment, but Im not. Sao Paulo has more European descendents but Rio was the capitol and looks a lot more European.
Both cities are awesome in food, but Sao Paulo has more international restaurants, with many different cuisines.
Live in Rio? The only thing that Rio is more european than Sao Paulo is in architecture.
