I found this story very sobering and sad. I am sorry there is not more comment about it. That family and others on the border, must really live on the edge every day.

Thx for bringing the articles here.

I agree with you AnnieA, Mrs. Krentz appears to be a strong, honest woman and I hope she eventually finds peace and happiness again. The federal government should be ashamed of themselves. Where is the protection and common courtesy for the people who reside along the border or for any American! What is happening in the border states is just disgusting and actually very concerning. The American culture is diminishing as we are being invaded.

this is why we need tougher immigration laws, and we need to enforce those laws. we the people need to force washington to close down the border before immigration reform is even considered.

This is a very sad story. I live in MN, so I didn't hear near as much about it. Thank you for sharing it. Obviously something has to be done. I'm a Democrat, but on illegal immigration I am pretty conservative. I have some small reservations about certain aspects of SB 1070 (and for all I know those issues could have been changed already), but I don't disagree that something needs to be done. I hope you can actually put something into action instead of it sitting in the courts for the next 10 years--but it doesn't sound too promising.

I wish the state and federal governments (both Rep. and Dem) could put their political posturing aside and figure this out. It seems like the only thing they know how to do is fight with one another on both sides. It's time to take a good look around and make some changes for the good of Americans.

I hope this Krentz family will find peace and joy again. It is such a sad story, and it shouldn't have happened.
Good luck to you guys with your new law.

So far, there is zero evidence that he was killed by an illegal immigrant.

Thanks for posting this link, Mouser.

This is extremely SAD as well as DISGUSTING and so UNNECESSARY.

In spite of numerous negative slams, I understand the Obama Goons have refused to read Arizona's SB1070, however, maybe they will find the time to read this moving article.

I'd be willing to bet that they've ALL read it by now. Just nobody has gone on the news to report it. I would like them to read this story too but they may not. Then again, they have people who watch news stories 24/7...it's what they get paid for...but I wouldn't expect them to comment on it.

This is true and all they have to go on is his contact with another family member just before the murder. And the fact that the Border Patrol tracked him all the way back to the border. Whether he said the guy was an "illegal" or not I don't really know but the guy was known for helping illegals in trouble out in the desert. I expect there's very little chance of the killer ever being caught.
