They've been playing the video (an excerpt) on the news tonight - it's kind of freaky knowing you're watching the last few seconds of this person living, and the mishandling/recoil problem seems both sad and preventable.

Nine year old shoots and kills instructor
If this wasnt so fatal and sad it would be funny, on our news telling of this disaster when a nine year old shot her gun instructor in the head killing him... another instructor talking about the tragedy said this..... I dont know how it happened as all the instructors stand behind the shooter .... Nope nothing about WHY is a nine year old holidng a gun and being taught how to shoot.. what is wrong with these people are they simple or what..

Holding a gun and learning how to shoot isn't all that bad, even at 9 years old. BUT why an Uzi?? Shouldn't they be starting out with a BB gun or something? I would NEVER let a 9 year old shoot with something like that. My dad taught us all how to shoot and how to be safe with firearms when we were pretty young but certainly not with an assault rifle!
