I think that sums it up very well

He's never held a job in the "private sector", A.K.A - the real world. That fact alone should disqualify him (and others like him) from office. His military service was only "hard" because he failed as a pilot & got shot down. I'd agree he did "a lot" for this country - much of it isn't positive.

No. In full disclosure, I wish every sitting senator would resign for the good of the nation. They're all worthless.

So the choice is probably Kelli Ward or McCain. I would have to vote McCain.

Unfortunately it comes down to the lesser of two evils

EDIT: In almost any election really.

Amen to that. They're as useless as t*ts on a bull.

I have mixed opinions on McCain. I reluctantly voted for him when he ran for President in 2008, but I held my nose mainly because of who he chose for a VP running mate. Thanks to him, the utterly annoying, highly hypocritical Sarah Palin became a prominent national figure. As a Senator, he is too much of a flip flopper, and also too much of an interventionist on foreign affairs. He has been a Senator for 28 years, and he's approaching 80 years old. These two factors alone should be a clue for him to retire. McCain has been in office long enough!

At the same time, I like the fact that he's a moderate Republican and willing to work with both sides. Seems like so many Republicans take hard line positions, especially on social/personal matters that really shouldn't be political issues. Of course, many Democrats are the same way on their end. If and when McCain ends up retiring (or dying, which ever comes first), his replacement will more than likely be another Republican, and probably one who may not be as moderate as he is.

Nothing against him personally, but would love to see and hear something new. Congress should have no more than two terms to serve.
