live in yuma, arizona. theres been a lot of violence, drugs, missinger persons , gang activity. I'm still laid off because of the virus since April 1 and my children's school is still closed. things are getting a bit overwhelming and I would like to find a place to move that is family friendly. safer. more to do for my children. I would prefer a walkable town or city. it can be in any state.

Do you like wilderness and forests? Do you mind the cold?

What do you do for a living? The decision of where to move is often tied to job opportunities, and particularly with children to care for, it is best to find a job first before moving. And, assuming you find work in your skill area, what is your budget for renting or buying?

I am a maid for a cleaning company here in Arizona but it has been shut down because of covid since April 1. I can transfer with that job and I will also get a second job on the weekend probably cleaning hotels.

I was just in Yuma. Seemed safe to me. I did hear there was a home invasion/murder a couple ago near yuma's donuts by the motel. Do you live on 8th street? May be you should move to the foothills.

I miss the tacos, breakfast burritos, donuts, and the margaritas.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I didn’t realize Yuma was that bad. Have you considered moving to San Luis or the Fortuna Foothills? Also regarding employment, I hear YCAT is hiring:

The news does not report all that is going on. Where do you live now? I do love sonoran Mexican food but I am a tight with my money so I know how to cook it at home .

Thank you. San Luis is where they found the most sophisticated drug tunnel in USA history recently... its right on the border of Mexico. I am employed its just that my job is closed because of covid. I am looking to move out of state.

I assume living in Arizona, you prefer warmer climes. Texas has a lot of people but a lot of places where to live with good job opportunities. Dallas/Fort Worth has the most job diversity and ringed by small towns. The 80 mile area between Austin and San Antonio has a lot of smaller towns from you can either look south toward San Antonio or north to Austin.
