The article is incorrect.



There were TWO southwest droughts in that time period. One lasted one hundred years and the other one hundred and fifty years.

For those of you that know Teneya Lake in Yosemite National Park.....there is a UNDERWATER lodgepole pine forest in the lake. The drought was so bad a 1000 years ago, that the lake became meadow, then forest. Then the rains came back and the lake refilled and the trees died.


THAT IS A DROUGHT.
