Thats the way I look at robbing banks, it's only a suggestion from the government that they don't want me to.

Just trying to add some humor to this thread.

Not sure at what speed one can lose their licence but a few weeks ago I had my 'Vette up to 130 mph . Good thing I didn't get pulled over, wouldn't have wanted to see that fine!

Good idea. I'd like to see more enforcement in neighborhoods and school zones. Some lead footed teens need to be reined in.

At 130, a judge would probably pull your DL.

Robbing banks hurts people emotionally, financially and even physically if they shoot anyone. Your comparison is a total joke since speeding on a wide open road hurts no one in any way.

Since we are talking about photo radar in this thread, what kind of enforcement do they provide? They are unconstitutional so people rip them up and throw them away, all the while laughing at the idiots who send the tickets to them. I know this is what all my friends back in AZ do.

Ummmm, yea, it was a joke. Wow.

But to say it hurts no one is too. You think the cops aren't hurt emotionally when they are picking up the remains of your body with a SPONGE when your "high speed car" blows out a tire or loses a suspension componant and you flip it in the desert? Or the car you don't see turning back into the road from a pit stop that you dont see as you are coming up on them at 100+? Get real.

Seems those who are personally served and have to appear in court might disagree with your statements above

If you look at them as revenue generators as you do then maybe they have been a disappointment to some. But there is no doubt that people respond to their presence by checking and slowing as needed as soon as they see the "Photo radar" sign. It is far less frequent to see some dick-head jumping lane to lane going 85 on the freeways anymore. And most folks have learned that best way to not worry about them is to keep their speed down under 10+. There is much more "civility" on the 101 than there used to be. So in that respect, they have been a great success. I suspect they would have even better results in school zones and people's neighborhoods where they can "protect" limited areas.
