A little Italian place downtown, keep hoping for red lobster or even a olive garden to hit town.
Most time its off to Vegas area.

Good point there.

Kingman for its size is 'weak' in the dining department.

In all fairness though; having eaten there many times, I have seen worse than Kingman

Bangkok Thai on Andy Devine in downtown Kingman for first-class Thai food. Run by a local Thai family, the food here is as good as you will get in NYC or SF (having lived in both places, I can say that.) This is actually the best restaurant in town.

The restaurant in the Brunswick Hotel, also downtown is a solid 4 or 5 star. Expensive. Most upscale place in town to eat. The lobster tempura appetizer is to die for.

Oysters Mexican on Andy Devine, one mile north of Stockton Hill Rd, on the right. Very good mex, specializing in seafood.

The Hualapai Mountain Lodge is a unique dining experience, at the top of Mt. Hualapai (of course). Great place for Sunday brunch. Look out the big picture window and see elk. The bar has live music on the weekend, and an eclectic mix of cowboy and yuppie patrons.

Well I have to agree I've eaten at all listed except the thai place keep saying I need to review it.

We tried Mattina's, the Italian place downtown, and it was wonderful. We both had the ribeye steak and although a little undercooked they were great cuts and seasoned very well. Seems to be a bit overpriced for being in Kingman but we will definately go back for steaks and will even try the Italian.

Now if the restaurant at the Hotel Brunswick is considered expensive, how much more is it than Mattina's? Is it a dress-up place?

Thanks for the report on Mattina's. I'll have to try it. It's probably in the same price range as the Brunswick, which isn't too bad. Moderate, I would say. No need to get overly dressed for the Brunswick either. Even jeans will get you by with a nice shirt and boots or whatever.
