Singapore is the closest thing to a second home abroad for me, because of family, the fact I was born there (though never lived there having left as a baby) and have spent a lot of time there, so I'm most comfortable/at home there (relatively speaking, I still wouldn't wanna live there). I like the fact it's clean and orderly, I don't get hassled, I can speak English to (almost) anyone, I know how to get around.etc. But if I go nowadays it's usually as a base to get somewhere else or to see family, but I always take advantage of the hawker food lol.

Usually it's cities with over 10 million (in their metro), although some cities punch above their weight, and if you include Johor and Batam and Bintam Singapore has close to 8 million. It certainly matches most megacities in stature - GDP, tourism, connectivity, and of course beats many much bigger ones like Karachi. If Hong Kong is a megacity then S'pore is, practically speaking.
