My husband is being transferred to the area right out of Ft. Macpherson. We are looking to rent a house in a good school district, our son will be in the 7 th grade. Also, if at all possible looking for a place that is relatively young, and trendy. Please, help as we must move by August 20th.

Could you tell me what your budget is? I am guessing you are planning on renting first?

Most schools start here on August 12 -- so try and move up your move date if you can.

How do you define good schools?

College Park is up and coming and could definitely be considered "urban" and/or "trendy." Like lastminutemom, more info is needed to actually give you any more advice. Price range, what kind of home are you lookin for, interest in/feasability of private schools...

Default budget & good school

Our budget is currently about $1400.00 a month would like a 3 bed/2 bath house we aslo have 2 dogs.

For us a "good school" is a school that has a good gifted program minimal to no overcrowding issues and doesn't have too many issues with student violence. Racially mixed my son is bi-racial.

Thank you for any advice you can give, we are very appreciative,
