Thanks Noah..I appreciate the info.
I've been to Papi's and Havana South..looking forward to exploring some other places in Norcross too.

But what I'm really looking for is Cuban bread, and pasteles de carne and guayaba. In Miami, they sold them in Publix, if you were lazy enough not to want to go to a bakery. However, over here they don't have that yet. I'm trying to tell everyone one I know to go to my publix and ask for it, so that there is a demand and they'll order it.

So far my heaven has been Buford Hwy Farmers Market. I've been able to find a lot of things there from various countries. In the mean time you do the best with what you have.

Thanks again!

Try Rey's Cuban Cafe (Welcome to Rey's Cuban Cafe! >> www.reyscubancafe.com). It is in Loganville, but I think you will be satified with the selection.

As you, I have also lived, work, went to school in the South Fla area (Ft.Lauderdale but also lived in North Bay Village off 79th St). If you are working at CNN, Marietta is your best bet for commuting as it is a straight run down I-75. With your work hours, it should not take more than 20 to 25 minutes tops. The area of Marietta where I live sounds like what you are describing. Unfortuntately, I am in a position where I must move back to So. Fla. due to an elderly parent as I enjoy this area of Ga very much. The cost of living is much lower than So. Fla. and there is plenty to do. The only negative is the lack of a beach. If I can help you further, let me know, as I would be happy to do so.
