So in my opinion, Atlanta has a ton of places that are very overrated. Here is my list

Aquarium is not overrated. It is one of the best aquariums in the world. I love the manta rays, whale sharks, and the dolphin show. I visit about once per year. It is the only attraction near the olympic park worth repeating. The coke museum and cnn tour are not worth repeating.

I can't comment on the other two, but I really enjoyed the aquarium. I've been there twice and would love to go again next time I'm in town. It's not cheap, but I think its reasonable considering you can easily spend an afternoon wandering around the place.

cq, help me (and I'm sure others) understand how an area that houses the most significant concentration of Atlanta business leaders and philanthropists be "fake". Not to mention the gems that are many of the area's most beautiful mansions, important businesses, fine restaurants and the South East's most preeminent shopping facilities. Everything is overrated if you live in any city. Im sure if you live in LA that Rodeo Dr and the hollywood sign is overrated. NYC'ers tell me all the time that Times Square and NYE is overrated. Im sure the monuments in DC are overrated because the average person living in DC have not seen them in years. And the reason I know this? Well I used to go on cheap dates in DC to those monuments because most of the women have not been down to the National Mall.
