My husband works off Fulton Industrial Blvd, one exit from Six Flags over Georgia. We live in Bethlehem/Dacula so we're talking an hour and a half commute ONE WAY.
So we're looking to move closer to his work, but don't want to live in a bad area.
Any suggestions for a nice area 30-45 minutes from there? We have children, so we need to also look at daycares, schools and all that fun stuff.

Look into West Cobb. Much better schools than Douglas County Schools...and it's a straight shot down CH James/Thornton Road/Camp Creek Pkwy.

Could check out Mableton also, they have added some new day cares there and in the Smyrna area. Public schools are horrible, but there is a new charter school.

I live in Smyrna in the Teasley district and the parents really love the school, are very active and feel their kids are getting a solid education. There are some bad schools here but they're not all horrible. Feel free to PM as there are several homes in my neighborhood for sale.

The ones over here are halfway okay, but with all the houses being built, we know by the time we get to use them, they are going to be so overcrowded.
Thanks! I'll be PMing you for sure! We're looking for a cul-de-sac (so the kids can play) or something with a big yard. I don't like city life, rural-er, the better in my option. My husband says he has to have civilization someplace close (like a theatre, resturants, and such.)

I think Smyrna may be too city for you if you prefer a suburban rural-esque type lifestyle.
