The ADAC(you need to be working with a designer to enter), Miami Circle(great antique stores), The Galleries of Peachtree Hills(Phoebe Howard has a great store here), and Matthews(great service, it is like a small scale ADAC). I would get a designer if I were you if you are buying a good amount of furniture because they can get reduced pricing. We have a lot of great designers in Atlanta.

Ditto on Matthews. Beverly Hall closed their intown store and I haven't been to their other locations.

There are also scads of outstanding galleries at places like Miami Circle, Kings Circle, ADAC, Jane Marsden, etc.

ETA: Just realized GeorgiaLakeSearch said the same thing in his post above. I agree with his advice to get a designer.

I was really surprised to discover this. Went in looking for a couple of small wing chairs for reading in my sunroom, and found some that secretly recline. They have held up very well, and they're the most comfortable chairs I own.

Agreed. I use Rooms to Go for the same reason. Someday when I have no pets, maybe I'll spend $3k on a sofa. Until then, they have to be pretty much disposable, or have washable slipcovers.

I love the look of the stuff at Arhaus, but I haven't bought anything there so can't speak for the quality.

That reminds me of when our Labs were puppies. They were like land-based piranha for about a year. Finally we threw up our hands and said we'd just have to refinish everything after they grew up.

With the pooches, I finally discovered that a leather sofa (albeit, not an expensive one) is about the only thing to hold up to them. Of course, if the pups are chewers, well, good luck! But, the sofa I have from Rooms to Go is a hit with the doggies, as well as my pocket book.

I will keep that in mind, Ansley. I'm also thinking we will get adult dogs only from this point forward. We might not survive another shark attack!
