Like much of the region, the southeastern city of Atlanta remains in the fierce grip of a drought that has continued to strangle the area's water supply for months.

But as many residents are trying to curb and conserve their water usage, one 14,000-square-foot property in suburban Atlanta has clocked more than 60 times water the average household uses.

My biggest outrage is how our lovely developers in the Atlanta area can still apply for a 30 day permit to use as much water as they wish.
Since we are overdeveloped, folks cannot sell their current homes, and developers have more inventory then one can shake a stick at, maybe it would be good to include them in the conservation effort also.
Nope, instead they just continue to bulldoze, build, lay sod, and water the road.

Funny how our body politic does not mention this.

Would not surprise me if this fella isn't a developer too.

I think it's 15 days in Cobb County now, and the developer must be physically present. Or maybe that only applies to the "new landscaping" exception.
