You know, I almost did! Atlanta ladies in their hats and white gloves, nibbling on cucumber sandwiches and gossiping before shopping.
There was also Santa's Secret Shop. You could enter without parental supervision and shop for them. Most of the gifts cost around $1.00. I gave my mother a little pin that looked like a flamenco dancer from there. She had it until the day she died.
