Are these the "we will make a green wall" changes that they suggested recently, or something that actually resembles compromise? I'd imagine being selected as a finalist for the Braves development created some pressure to not be total jackwads in their current projects. Gotta put on a good show.

No. More than that. I just posted an update here: http://www.city-data.com/forum/atlan...d-park-20.html

Glad to see a NPU and a developer not at odds with each other for once (looking at you, Fuqua). Lots of potential here. Seems like a good mix of honoring the space, respecting the community, and creating a profitable venture for the developer.
That's because one of the developers lives in the neighborhood and has a vested interest in the project.

KNO voted to support the Pullman LLC project, but never has had a vote on this proposal. One way to show non-support is to not show up for it.

What does the neighborhood want, cq? Seems like the athletic fields would be a great way to increase the ER quotient

Kirkwood has plenty of greenspace. There is no point in building privately owned athletic complex, when the AYSA has soccer fields 1 block away that locals cannot use. The neighborhood does not want this to fenced off and restrict access to those who can afford to pay the membership.

So the locals are not allowed to use Arizona avenue? That stinks.
