Atlanta Streetcar and Atlanta BeltLine will integrate the transit lines. They are seeking input for the Southwest routes.

How about an additional midtown route to go from Amtrak Atlanta, Through Atlantic station, Along 14th Street, down along piedmont, and then join up with the north avenue line.

Thanks for the heads up cq.

There's a pretty robust streetcar network being planned. I think there are some better routes than currently planned, but these being discussed create a good core.

It says the meetings are for the "Westside" and "Southwest". I thought this was all part of the same segment. I guess the split is at I-20?

Odds on the first segment being operational by year's end?

In the future, let's focus on the proposed routes of Phase 1 for now.

My opinion is that it looks Useful for people living nearby north Avenue and lower end of midtown, but does little to help people living further inside midtown. Hence, I would not actually call it a "midtown crosstown".

Downtown loop seems to be much better, although it could have expanded a bit more west.

There are plans in the next phases to run a line along 10th. Have you had a chance to review the proposal from several months ago?

Coke is going to need to move. Its already tough enough with Georgia Tech right next door. Now they aim to put streetcars on North Avenue and Lucky Street.

Coke isn't going anywhere. Why does it need to move?

My guess is that if Coke objected to the placement of the lines, the lines would be moved. Coke is going nowhere.
