Georgia Tech and UGA were ranked the 7th best public university in the nation. UGA is one of 3 SEC schools to make the list along with University of Florida and Texas A&M.

Overall rankings show Emory ranked 21st, GA Tech ranked 35th and UGA ranked 62nd.

UGA has landed among the top 20 public universities six out of the last 10 years. This year, it was one of three SEC schools to make the list—along with the University of Florida and Texas A&M University.

GA Tech was ranked 4th best undergraduate engineering program and 6th best graduate engineering program

UGA's Terry College of Business increased its standing, moving six places to No. 21 for best undergraduate business schools. GA Tech's Scheller College of Business also did well ranking at No. 27.

Agnes Scott College and three other schools tied for 73rd in the Best National Liberal Arts Colleges category. Six schools, including Spelman College tied for 81st.

Among more than 50 ranked historically black colleges and universities, Spelman ranked first; Morehouse College ranked 3rd, and Clark Atlanta University ranked 18th.

I think that's the biggest shock of them all. Harvard replaced by Princeton. The horror lol. I do think USNews is massively flawed. But that's another conversation.

Princeton, Harvard, and Yale are the standard by which everyone else is measured. I believe they are always 1,2, 3 and their order might change. I bet H-Y-P don't even care how US News ranks them.

I agree with this. Harvard, Yale and Princeton are basically "it" in the eyes of many for liberal arts colleges and their prestige is known throughout the country and world.

I highly doubt they care about US News ratings of them either. Only institutions with something to prove IMO constantly want to bring up various ratings systems and their place on them.

I heard that if you make every class size 49 instead of 50 your ranking goes up significantly...
