Nice to see companies move from the suburbs to the city.

Great news! Consolidating and centralizing job centers will help increase the efficiency of transit in the Atlanta region and will attract more millennial types. It's refreshing to see that so many employers in Atlanta are seeing the benefit of being located near transit.

How is this a good thing? Now the people who live in that area have to commute all the way to buckhead. That sucks. I feel bad for them, I know I would not be happy.

So it's bad for a few, but better for many. Still is a win.

Atlanta deserves it. Without Atlanta there is no Alpharetta

You're assuming that all their employees live in Alpharetta. I'm sure there are just as many, if not more, employees that live elsewhere and will find Buckhead equally if not easier to commute to than Alpharetta.

Also, if getting to Buckhead is so difficult for people living in Alpharetta (despite being directly connected by 400), then that will only increase the push to have Marta Rail expanded, which would be a benefit for both Alpharetta and Atlanta.

See? Win-Win.

Funny...I just saw the building today. The Buckhead area is already so crowded and unbearable in the mornings, lunch time and in the evening. Hopefully Marta takes notice and makes some changes as well.

What change could they make? Red and Gold lines run every 10 minutes. Best we could do is every 8, but they seem to get backed up anyways so I'm not sure I'd want to push the system any more. BucRide could step up to the plate and run more, and more direct routes. I'm sure the shuttles help someone, but frankly I can't figure out who.

Man, I do not see the benefit for the current employees in this move. . . not for the ones with kids, anyway. . . they've already set up a nice lifestyle based on working in Alpharetta. . . which I don't care how you look at it, if I'm living in big, cheap house in a swim/tennis community in a great school district that's 10 minutes from work and you tell me that I'm now working in Buckhead??? That's not going to go over well. Maybe all their employees are young 20 somethings? or old haggard partiers? Or rich as Creosus?

They can take Marta to Buckhead. Those jobs should have been near rail stations in the first place
