If you want to have separate comments about the hopeless traffic situation, go ahead.

Atlanta is a mess. There's no artery north of Paces Ferry to 285 in any direction and next to none from Dunwoody to Marietta. And there's no transit connecting most of these areas.

That will change.
Even though it does nothing to fix the problem, I suppose larger pants will be more comfortable...

And yet it does.

You have a general view that facts won't change. I'm talking about something specific that will change.
You either can't grasp what I'm referring to or choose not to accept it.

I have already addressed this many times.

Now go back your regularly scheduled comments...

Gulch. Did you read what I wrote? I'm making a specific point and I don't understand why it continues to go on.

we need need east-west direction highway to get some cars and semi off the 285. or we can have a timing system. i.e., from 7-9 am or 17-19 pm no semi can use 285, of cos truck drivers will not happy..

Why not try and remove cars by creating a truely regional transit network. Use the existing lanes and run frequent bus service to major employment centers from park and ride lots.

And I am debating the larger picture because $1B should be improving the larger picture.

Then have that debate with others who debating everything.

This is the same as me making a specific point related to the Braves and you not acknowledging it because you have issues with Major League Baseball that prevents from considering specific topics.

Your comparison of a growing child needing larger clothes would be more accurate as a growing adult. A larger pair of pants is not the solution to obesity.
Atlanta is a growing city. What's so hard to understand about that? No matter what traffic will get worse. The question is how much worse. I swear you're the only person that would love to have nothing but 2 lane roads. Even with a top notch mass transit system NYC has terrible commutes and traffic, that happens when a city gets larger.

Smaller pants also don't solve anything when you're growing anyway.
