Someone took a picture on instagram of the roof at Ponce City Market. Look at that view...that'll be the best part...apparently, there are 3 bars, fair- like games and arcades, and the putt putt golf thing. I can't wait to get up there and take pictures of Atlanta. The vantage points will be unreal.

Crazy, that almost seems to suggest that Ponce City Market is a knockout success so far, and paying to park there isn't stopping them from admitting just about as many customers as the fire marshall will allow.

It gets insanely packed, but a good portion of the people going into PCM are coming from the Beltline...it's crazy how packed the Beltline entrance gets on some days. I always ask myself where do all of these people come from.

I would say at least 65% of their customers walk to PCM via the Beltline/etc

Yep, I think that was kind of always the expectation all along. Didn't stop Atlanta's newsmedia from enjoying a few days of Chicken Little-ing about how PCM might be in trouble because of their dastardly paid parking.

If you guys want cheap eats at PCM get yourselves into Minero (Sean Brocks Mexican Street Food restaurant).

Tacos are $3 or $4 and beers (and shots!) start at $3, incredible prices for a renowned chefs restaurant.

Went last Friday night and was thoroughly impressed.

Seconded. Dropped $12 on a beer and tacos the other night and it was one of the best dinners I've had anywhere in a little while.

That looks pretty legit - I don't see why they don't have an opening date on the PCM website, though.

I'm thinking of signing up to do one of the Saturday tours they're doing now - anyone do that yet, and if so, did they talk about the rooftop?

They will probably wait until March when it was nice outside
