Cobb is the worst! I can't wait until the county begins to deteriorate over the next 20 years.

Maybe the officer is among us on CD and thought the driver was Ant?

As to the incident, deeply troubling but sad to say not surprising.

Fingers crossed it can be addressed appropriately and settled fairly to everyone's satisfaction. Not going to hold my breath though, since law enforcement seem to get preferential treatment when one of their own is held to account.

A dumb, biased cop. You'll run into people like that in every city in the country, as we have been reminded by many highly publicized incidents in the last few years.

It's hardly a Cobb-only phenomenon. There've been plenty of incidents involving APD and other area police departments.

Fortunately the vast majority of officers and their supervisors know better.

Really makes me want to stay the hell away from Cobb. I know it's not what everyone in the county thinks but perception is important in attracting people.

Folks - Making this a Cobb issue minimizes how bad this is.

Yeah, individual and institutional racism only exists in Cobb County. Please let our brothers and sisters in St. Louis, NYC, Mississippi, Florida, Memphis, Oakland and elsewhere know. I don't think they got the memo.

Lesson to all the kids out there: Don't pick on the slow boy who takes gym class way too seriously because he's not good enough to make the basketball or football team. If you do, he'll probably grow up to be a douche-y cop who uses his badge and gun to fill the massive chip on his shoulder.
