Any recommendations for a good Mexican restaurant in Midtown and/or Buckhead? Thanks!

Nuevo Laredo in Midtown West is amazing.

Not really Mexican, more Southwestern, Nava in Buckhead is exceptional.

Drive to Castleberry Hill and eat at No Mas! Cantina. The queso is worth it alone. (Am I the only person in Atlanta that doesn't like Nuevo Laredo? IMHO, the food just wasn't good.)

I haven't found a good Mexican restaurant in town, except for one: Zapata, in Norcross. Interesting menu and some really good dishes. Other than that, I despair. ![]() Zapata - Mexican Cuisine - 5975 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 2, Norcross, GA 30092 |

No Mas Cantina isn't very good to me...but the atmosphere is cool. Rosa Mexicana in Atlantic Station is decent...but expensive.

If you want a bit of a dive with tattooed waitstaff, go to Cantina La Casita in East Atlanta. It's cheap and pretty tasty.

A friend took me to El Azteca on Peachtree Industrial. I thought the food was really good.
