They're similar architectural styles, to be sure! The rounded corner (like Atlanta Dairies') is actually a hallmark of streamline moderne; Bauhaus architecture is more likely to have rectilinear corners. The original bas relief sculpture (that was moved to the GWCC MARTA station) is another mark of streamline moderne, with its heavy art deco influence. The strong horizontal emphasis in the rows of windows is another clue. That said it also has some Bauhaus influences, like the asymmetric Forsyth Street façade.

The best thing about that era is that it's a building that could look thoroughly modern again today with a bit of care.
