I stopped in there for a pint when i was up last week, nice place but i didn't hear any accents & unless there are ex pat regulars in, it's probably not worth their while showing the games, same with the ship & anchor.

What you need to do is go to Arizon Avenue soccer fields on Saturday mornings starting at 9am and bring along a cooler of beers and some sammages and lawn chairs. Then, plunk yourself down and watch kids from age 4 to 18 play soccer under the flag of AYSA until 3pm. You will hear a lot of European accents from the adults...when Europeans move to Atlanta and propogate they want their kids to love soccer so they really get into it and start coaching...

At the very least they can tell you where all the Europeans go to watch a game..

Yeah both those pubs also don't have stella on draft and that is a big problem for me.

LOL. I'd better tell my wife they don't sell wife beater (stella)
I'll always remember when they first started selling it in Ft Lauderdale, she swore blind she could drink a mate of mine under the table 30 mins later she was a wreck,it was hilarious....till i had to carry her home one of the strongest beers around,no matter what the % says, Strongbow is another one best taken in moderation, they actually came out with a beermat a few years ago with the slogan " strongbow .. helping fuel soccer riots for almost 40 yrs" they would never get away with that in blighty.
I would recommend you don't drive after too much of either though

They do have stella in the new bar in old town chamblee and are promising to get it at the Chamblee Bistro.

I dont think its as stong here as in the UK. It could be the gravity that gives it such a kick and thats lower here. Does that make sense?

Meehan's Public House in Sandy Springs. Cold pints, good crowd, lots of soccer.
