I went to the game today (great experience btw), but there was most DEFINITELY traffic on 285.

It seems like so far this season, the Braves' traffic issues are better than expected, but their performance on the field is worse than expected. We're only a month and a half in but they are dead last in the NL east.

They're in last place, but with one good win streak they could be in second place. Only a couple games back.

Traffic complaints do seem better than expected so far. But attendance is also worse than even I expected and certainly far below Liberty Media's hopes.

They suck, Bigly!!! But they're not that bad. To win just 50 games in an MLB season is like epic levels of trash.
Only a handful of teams have even reached that low mark in the modern era. This team is awful though, it's hilarious seeing all the pleas copped and excuses given to team management on the bad moves they've made and continue to still make. Like why in the world Snitker is the skipper when you have a coach on staff with experience in successfully rebuilding and taking teams to the WS in Ron Washington. And why in the world is Dansby Swanson playing SS? He can't field a ground ball correctly to save his life!!!! He already can't hit, but usually SS aren't the best offensively, so I'd be cool with it if he at least had some defensive prowess. Smh. This team is hot garbage and no one wants to admit they made a mistake from the top to the bottom.

This is a bandwagon sports city along the same lines as LA and Miami. People will only come out if you put a good product on the field. We don't have the die hards of places like Chicago where Wrigley was still sold out even when the Cubs were trash. Sorry product on the field= no fans in the stands in Atlanta. And this is what this current Braves team is and will be for the foreseeable future. Why anyone is surprised that STP numbers aren't that high with that POS product they've trotted out there is beyond laughable to me. STP has become the new Coors Field. It's literally a launching pad, you got teams coming here putting up huge offensive numbers just off how the park is designed. Teams come here in a slump and they leave on an offensive uptick because even the leadoff and bottom of the order hitters are launching balls over the fences. SMH. This whole Braves demo from the move, the design of the park and the dismantling of the team is a disaster of epic proportions

Well, tell that all to the Braves leadership. They clearly were expecting this new stadium to attract a lot more people even with this quality of team. They are not seeing a lot of other developments going in next to the Battery either. Got to wonder how that is impacting the finances of STP / and the increases Cobb was expecting when they were projecting the stadium subsidy.

I want to hear that from them, rather than you putting words in their mouths constantly.

You don't know what they were expecting for and planning for, especially with this current crappy team.

Well the team wanted 3 million in attendance. That's been reported by the braves and their beat reporters.

Before SunTrust Park opened, Braves officials told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that they wanted to see 3 million people walk through the turnstiles in year one. That would be 90 percent capacity. The trend right now says they’ll fall far short of that.
Is attendance up at SunTrust Park? It's not so simple. | 11alive.com
