I hate to break it to you, but that's a two-car train. Now that one I've seen, it's normally parked in the west end of Avondale Yard close to Sams Crossing and Ponce. It was the first thing I thought of, but when I drove by, it was definitely two cars as pictured.

Not the mysterious 3-car train, but still something of an oddity. Spotted a 1-car unit sitting in the Avondale yard when I went past on an eastbound train to Inman Park.

Judging by the side windows near the ends, that looks like an ordinary car, not one of those cars with driver booths at both ends.
