Another possibility, MARTA could buy up and tear down the Moore's Mill Village apartments. Build the transit center on that block, between Moores Mill and Defoors, with new TOD apartments built above the station.

Then the light rail line perhaps could use the Silver Comet corridor (much like the Beltline transit alongside pedestrian path), at least to Collier Rd, then via some way could get over to the NW Beltline from there. (Not via Collier, which is too hilly and just doesn't have the space.)

Why not the underused SW corner of Marietta Blvd and Bolton? Already has a trail connection.

That photo is not accurate. The bones should actually be decomposing.

They will be Fossils by time we see a Marta station extend to Winward Pkwy or Stonecrest. I really hope Amazon comes to metro ATL or even downtown, just to push the progress of all this supposed planning.

There will be flying cars by the time the groundbreaking begins for any rail expansion.

So are we gonna actually build anything? We pass all of these taxes and have nothing to show for it.

I wonder if the City/Beltline/MARTA is just being lazy in keeping citizens up to date on progress or they are just highly adverse to creating any sort of deadline? It's been over a year since the More MARTA tax was passed and I don't think we have seen an official followup concerning any updates in this regard.

Not just updates to bus routes, they need to clue in the public on progress on larger scale projects. Everyone thinks nothing is happening, but I'm pretty sure there's quite a bit happening but the powers that be just aren't talking about it.

I have seen updates from ABI meetings on the studies to qualify for federal funds.
