They have many open listings for this size Section 8 home in Detroit and Cleveland areas.
Some have swimming pools, free rental cars with gas vouchers as well.
Good luck!!

Do you realize that a lot of people go to school, get a great education, and work hard trying to save enough money for a "big" home in an area with excellent schools? Why should the taxpayers practically GIVE this to you? Please explain this. You're coming across as being extremely picky. You should be thankful if you can find a section 8 property in "any" area. At least you will have a roof over your head. I'm sorry but there is a certain element of people on section 8 with this mentality and I don't care for it.

Ignore the other bigots, not everybody is discriminatory on this board, it's going to take some work on your part, look on www.craigslist.com for the Atlanta area, in the www.ajc.com rental classified ads and by other means (i.e. riding around and asking others the wherebouts of which landlords are accepting section 8). You can also contact the Atlanta Housing Authority to see if they have an available list of property owners that have their property ready for renting. Good luck on house hunting.

I'm hoping the whole 2nd half of this thread is a joke. The guy posting his demands for section 8 housing is too funny. But then again, given the handout entitlement mentality I have seen around this city... it may not be a joke.

Yes, the "demands" are a joke. I'm all for section 8 housing when it is truly needed, but demanding a "large master bedroom" is a bit much. What this poster seems to want is a govt. subsidized $200,000 plus home.
