Hello all

I will be relocating from VA to ATL next summer for grad school. I will be relocating to the Norcross area. Does anyone have any good recommendations for apartments? I'm not looking to spend over $800/month.

Even though I am a black female, I prefer not to live around a bunch of AA or Hispanics, low income, or urban areas. A SAFE, mixed race, low crime, where people value their residence, and don't care about "snitching" LOL area is HIGHLY preferred. I don't want to have to worry about having my home or car broken into. I've read may reviews about some apartments in and around the Norcross area and most have not been favorable.

Thanks in advance!

I'd avoid Norcross and try Lawrenceville or Duluth based on your prefrences. Norcross is in Gwinnett, but in my opinion, the hood part of Gwinnett.

Dunwoody would be a reverse commute and though the traffic is heavy right around the perimeter mall area - it seems like it would be a fun, busy place to live. Diverse as well.

Dunwoody/Perimeter Mall area would be a better choice.

From West Norcross/Peachtree Corners there are apartments along Spalding Drive which intersects with Holcomb Bridge Rd that would be safer than other parts of Norcross. Not too long ago I heard about a drug related incident at Medlock Bridge Rd from which I inferred that there are problems all over the area now.
