No, not at all.

We can go on and on, about speed, reckless driving, and other technical stuff trying to prove our points about safety, not speeding and all. But this thread is not really about that. For those who want this thread to close, or call people names, I'd say to just relax or dont reply at all.

I totally agree that racing and speeding should be left for the racetrack, but we are all or have been guilty of speeding in our lifetimes, and I can say that there is no exception to what I said (from 5 mph to 50 mph, it's been done, so let's keep the judgement to a minimum).

Let's all keep things peaceful here. No name calling, and I'm not pointing the finger at anyone in particular. Just hosing down the potential fire.

RCSteiner. I hear ya man. Ice is the culprit, . I'm sorry to hear about your Supra's demise. Glad to know you're alive to write about your experience. Sad to see these beauties at the junkyards . I keep my toys parked when winter comes around. I did enough unvoluntary drifting with my cars on NY's icy roads. I stopped gambling with the ice.

By that logic, anyone who ever stole a candybar as a kid has forfeited their right to look down on those who steal cars.

This calls to mind an unforgettable question asked by George Carlin.

"Ever notice how everyone that drives slower than you is a moron, and everyone that drives faster is a maniac?"

"Move over, you moron!"

"Wow, look at that maniac go!"

Hehehe. Very good.

Of course, I tend to not speed these days at all. Around town (especially in Cobb which can be speed-trap happy) I tend to go traffic speed and stick to the posted limits, on in-town freeways I'll go with traffic flow, and on rural roads and interstates I'll generally lock the cruise at speedlimit+4.

No......I dont even want to get into it with you, but that's pointless, and makes no sense. The whole point was for those who "never" sped in their lives to relax on those who replied to the thread, that's all. People want to flame over anything these days (not talking about you per se).

Interesting, because in the post you wrote, which I responded to, you said:

"I totally agree that racing and speeding should be left for the racetrack, but we are all or have been guilty of speeding in our lifetimes, and I can say that there is no exception to what I said (from 5 mph to 50 mph, it's been done, so let's keep the judgement to a minimum)."

And now you're trying to say you were addressing people who have never sped.

Whatever you say.

There again, you failed to understand what I said. It's in bold and in quotes for a reason..
That's the point. I dont think you understand what I'm saying....Let it go...I am letting it go. (I think you failed to read the sarcasm there, but that's ok )

The point is everyone...HAS SPED IN THEIR LIVES..

Yeah, you're still not making sense.

Don't mind me...carry on bragging about breaking laws.
