There are some back roads that you can take to weave around the highways, but you won't be the only person on them
What I've found is that the sback roads don't really save any time- in fact, they sometimes take a bit longer- but at least you're not staring at the car in front of you as you crawl along at 5mph.

HI cityrover,
yes I heard that they spend more than 3 million for the Little river school recent upgrade. Also I heard that Woodstock middle & high schools are replaced by Arnold mill schools. Is it true?

I'm not familiar with the traffic on the back roads to your job on Roswell Rd. (I assume you would take Hwy 92 to Atlanta St./Roswell Rd.). Note that if you are driving over to get on GA 400 in Roswell/Alpharetta, there will be traffic there just to get on GA 400.
For your wife, the drive down I-575 to I-75 will be busy in both directions (going and coming). The breakoff to I-285 will also be jampacked. Of course, I don't know your hours, so if it isn't the 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM or 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM time frames for going and coming, then traffic will be less of a concern.

They're not being "replaced" by the new schools, but rather supplemented. The new schools are meant to ease some over-crowding that currently has some students being shuffled to schools far from their homes. If you're buying near 92, your kids will likely end up going to the new schools.

Hi wxjay,
My work place is closer to exit-6 of GA-400. I am thinking of taking spalding drive in holcomb to reach roswell road. There is no way for my wife. I need to think of other alternatives like changing her work commute timings etc.

Who knows. The "old" schools are doing pretty well already, so I don't know that there will be much of an impact just because there's a new school in the county.
