Perhaps at the Belmont Hills development or the one going in on South Cobb and East West? We just bought a house behind One Ivy Walk and would love to see something like that near us!

Whole foods has reported some pretty heft losses during the recession (due to prices), so I seriously doubt you'll see any new locations popping up soon.

Trader Joe's on the other hand I think hasn't been hit that hard, so you're more likely to see one of those. Their current locations are HERE, but you could always email them about future sites if they'll share the info.

Whole Foods is still opening new stores. The 2 that are in development in GA are slated to open in Marietta (East Cobb) and Alpharetta.

Trader Joe's says "more stores coming soon", but no details.

Where in East Cobb will the Whole Foods be?

I'm actually surprised that they'd put one in East Cobb. Whole Foods owns the Harry's Market stores, and they have one in Roswell not to far from East Cobb, and one along 75 around the 120 loop- you'd think they'd want to be a little further out to avoid hurting their own existing stores.

A Whole Foods or Trader Joe's in the Sprayberry Crossing areas would work without hurting existing stores...

while still being among/close to the affluent clientele that both chains love!

According to this article Marietta Daily Journal - Merchant's Walk library may move it's Merchant's Walk that's under consideration. I guess that would be nice for shoppers who like both WF and TJ's, since Trader Joe's is right across the street at Pinestraw Place.

Thanks, Rain.

The only problem is that it will so close to the Fresh Market at Woodlawn.

A Trader Joe's could also do well at Sprayberry Crossing (or immediate area).

That's all great for East Cobb and all but we need one or both in the Smyrna/Vinings area!
