Hi everyone,

Are the areas between S. Cobb and King Springs south of Concord Rd generally safe? I see a lot of older homes in that area but also some newer ones as well. We are pretty much going to have to rent sight unseen and I just don't want to end up in an undesirable area!

Thanks so much.

Yes, the area you mention is quite safe...., as safe as any other part of Smyrna or Vinings; perception is one thing, actual conditions are quite another.

Regards,
Duncan

Yes, these are great areas. Very family-oriented atmosphere in a lot of the neighborhoods. Great elementary schools. Lots of tear-downs and high end development was going in before the market crash but prices have held.

Land is a premium in Smyrna so some of the neighborhoods with old bungalows are still very nice areas and the land values make the houses pretty expensive, even if small bungalows.
