The Medical Commons is only one small piece too a giant puzzle.

The $112 million School of Medicine is under construction.

The expected cost of the Medical Education Commons is $105 million; the new dental school is budgeted for $112 million.

In addition MCG Health Inc., which operates the university’s clinical facilities, is building a $31 million, 57,000-square-foot outpatient cancer center on the property.

I think Saint Sebastian will spur growth along Walton Way, 15th street, Greene street, and Riverwatch pkwy especially. As far as the Medical District itself, it will only provide easier access.

Don't know when the buildings go up. Ground work is still being done.

Yes we are growing up, and we do deserve it! Now if we can just get these clowns(commissioners) out of office with this black/white foolishness, we may just grow into a world class city like Augusta should be!!!
