How is that a disadvantage to NA? With the Waffle House at Exit 5 in NA now relocated across I-20 near the newer McDonald's, a very large tract of uninterrupted property is now opened up on the opposite side of I-20 as the new Walmart-anchored center. Would not be surprised to see that pop up with something rather quickly once the Walmart center is open.

Anyone know what is being done with the land on Sand Bar Ferry road? It's just down the street from Riverfront Collision and on the same side of the street, they've cleared the property that used to house the old run down auto-repair/junkyard (4 or 5 buildings)… I drive to work everyday down Sand Bar Ferry and it looks so much better.

Townhomes to replace old daycare center in Summerville

An old daycare facility across from Georgia Regents University’s Summerville campus has been razed to make way for townhomes.
Two weeks ago, developers tore down the former Childcare Network building at 2401 Walton Way and are completing engineering work on the 1-acre site for four townhomes, said Augusta attorney Jim Trotter, who makes up one third of Guardhouse Townhomes LLC, which purchased the property for $190,000 in June....
