MoPac ends as a freeway at Slaughter, but is still a highway...

It has two traffic lights, one in Slaughter, one in La Crosse. And then continues for a stretch where people think it's a drag race.

But imo once you start hitting traffic lights you're no longer in a traditional (read: no traffic lights) highway.

Also, just because people zoom at those speeds in HWY 45 doesn't mean they should. With the turn, and all those cyclists, they're really just asking for something bad to happen.

HWY 45 is one of the reasons (a very big one, actually) we decided to buy in Circle C proper rather than Meridian.
A lot of people that live in Circle C take SH45, especially the Muirfield residents, and people that live on the south end of Circle C. The speed limit is 75 on the last stretch. The cyclists should really stay off of SH45!

I do agree with that. All of those cyclists are taking their lives in their hands riding in MoPac & SH45!!! Seems insane to ride there.

However, that doesn't really excuse how fast some people drive there. It's like they're asking for an accident to happen.

Faster than 75? That is the speed limit.
