Yikes! Looks pretty exciting moving in from the west. Let's hope it holds together but doesn't get severe. We've had plenty of 'light and sound' but no rain beyond the < one-tenth inch Tuesday PM. Mayhaps, today is the day!

Already pouring downtown, but the large cell is on it's way.

We've got rain (and thunder and lightning) in the Texas Hills. Not sure whether I should move my car into the carport for fear of hail or get all that pollen washed off!

So how long before flooding? 3 hours? Draught and flood are the only two precipitation events in Austin.

Oh, I just had hail hit my office window on Barton Skyway.

Rain, thunder and lightning here in SW Austin. About 10 AM the biggest darkest cloud passed over us. My son woke up, thought it was still night time and went back to sleep.

You let your kid sleep until 10am?

...and then let him go back to bed?
